Gazo, Marie F. (nee Ruggiero), 84, died on Wednesday February 4, 2009. Mrs. Gazo was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, she lived North Arlington and Lyndhurst for most of her life, and was a resident of North Bergen for 3 years. She was a member of Lyndhurst AARP #4886 and the North Arlington Seniors. Marie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Dr. Emanuel F. Gazo in 1989, by her son, the late Robert F. Gazo and by her brother, the late Pfc. Dominick Ruggiero. She is survived by her loving son, Charles A. Gazo & his wife, Maggie of North Bergen, her dear granddaughter, Joanna Camacho and great grandson, Skyler. Also survived by her two siblings, Nellie Robinson and Vincent Ruggiero. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Saturday February 7, 2009 at 9 AM then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 10 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment Hillside Cemetery, Lyndhurst. Visiting hours Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
