Ciampaglia, Raymond A., 71, of Lyndhurst passed away peacefully on Monday February 10, 2009. Mr. Ciampaglia was born in Hoboken. He joined The US Navy (1955-63) serving during the Cuban Missile crisis, stationed off the coast of Cuba. Wanting a better life for his children, he moved to Lyndhurst in 1967. He worked most of his life as an Engineer, designing pharmaceutical plants, power plants and took part of in the design of the first Space Shuttle. Raymond is a nephew of the late Italian artist, Carlo Ciampaglia. He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Tina (nee Aragona), his two loving sons, Raymond and Thomas and two beautiful grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Friday February 13, 2009 8 AM then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 9 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visiting hours Thursday 7-9PM
