Avento, Sara (nee Frangipane) 93, died on Thursday February 12, 2009 at her residence. She was born in Lyndhurst and was a life long resident. Sara worked as a Seamstress for Bedford Co., Lyndhurst for many years. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church Rosary Society and Sacred Heart Seniors. Mrs. Avento is predeceased by her husband the late Dominic A. Avento in 1982. She is survived by her loving children, John and Sandra Avento of Freehold, Joseph and Connie Avento of Tenn., Grace and Glenn Tarascavage of Lyndhurst, eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren and her beloved sidekick, Penny. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, on Tuesday February 17, 2009 at 9AM then to Sacred Heart Church, where at 10AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Lyndhurst. Visiting hours Monday 2-4 & 7-9PM. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hackensack Hospice, Prospect Avenue, Hackensack.
