Obituary of George Cantrella

Cantrella, George , 89, of Lyndhurst died on Wednesday February 18 in his residence. Mr. Cantrella was born in Jersey City and resided in Lyndhurst forover 50 yrs. He was a self employed general contractor for many years in the Bergen County area. He was an Army Veteran of WWII, a member of Unico and the Kof C #2396 of Lyndhurst. Preedeceased by his wife the late Victoria Cantrella (nee Conti) in 2005 , a son the late Joseph Cantrella in 1977, a granddaughter Jennifer Cantrella in 2006. He is survived by his son Gerard and his wife Diana Cantrella of Parsippany, two daughters Barbara Cantrella of Belleville and Michele and her husband Nick Magalio. Grandfather of Melissa and John Cesaro, Jerry and Sara Cantrella, Joshua, Joseph and Sarafina Colgan, Nicholas, Olivia and Jennifer Magalio Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Saturday February 21, 2009.Funeral Mass will be offered at Sacred Heart Church , Lyndhurst at 10 am. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery,North Arlington. Visiting hours Saturday 8:30 am to 9:30 am only.
