Obituary of Edward T Rogers

Rogers, Edward T., 78, died on Saturday, March 5, 2011 in Florida near the ocean, surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Rogers was born in New York City, and has lived most of his life in Lyndhurst. Edward was a Foreman for Rexnord Fastener Company, Hackensack for many years when he retired in 1995. He was an Army Veteran who served during the Korean War. A member of the American Legion and Moose Lodge #2157, an avid fisherman and member of the Schuyler Tuna Club of Florida. Edward is predeceased by his beloved wife, Barbara A. Rogers in April 2010. He is survived by his loving children, Linda Peltz and her husband, Jay, Lorraine, Laura, and Edward A. Rogers & his girlfriend, Nancy, by his eight dear grandchildren, Lydia Hazou-Negron and her husband, Angel, Lana Hazou, Stephanie, Anthony and Vanessa Ferrara, Shannon Henderson, Jennifer and Marissa Rogers, by his best bud, Harry Henderson and by his loving sister-in-law, Patricia Phillips and her husband James. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Friday, March 11, 2011 at 11AM. Cremation private.
