Obituary of Daniel J. Diuro

Diuro, Daniel J. 86, of Lyndhurst, died on Wednesday April 1, 2009. Mr. Diuro was born in Italy, lived in Union, NJ and was a resident of Lyndhurst for the last 59 years. He was a Crane Operator for Bethlehem Steel Co, Kearny for 30 years, retiring in 1987. Mr. Diuro was an Army Veteran who served during WWII as a Military Police Officer and was a member of the American Legion Post #0037 in North Arlington. Loving Father of Arleen Canestrale of Wallington, Denyse Hernandez of NY and Daniel Diuro, Jr. of Wood Ridge. Brother of Donato and Louis Diuro. Also survived by four grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Tuesday April 7, 2009 at 10 AM. Interment Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ. Visiting hours Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
