Obituary of Evelyn M. Rominski

Rominski, Evelyn M. (nee Vendola) 70, of Nutley, died on Saturday, March 12, 2011. Mrs. Rominski was born in Newark, raised in Lyndhurst and has been a resident of Nutley for over 40 years. She was an Auxiliary Police officer for The Lyndhurst Police Dept., an Activity Director for Holy Family Residences in West Paterson for many years. She worked with Nutley Civic for activities such as Easter Egg Hunts, Firework displays and other entertainments as well as did fundraisers with cotton candy, popcorn and snow cones. She was an extra in the movie classic �The Godfather�. Evelyn is survived by her beloved husband, Fred S. Rominski, by her loving children, Tammyann Andreacio & her husband, John, Janmarie Dotoli & her husband, Gus, Samantha Rominski Tokarz, Danny Boy Rominski & his wife, Kim and by her nephew, Billy Mareski, by her dear grandchildren, Jacob & Abigail Andreacio, Zoe & Jordan Dotoli and Rhiana & Rhath Tokarz, by her sisters, Camella Tolve, Cecilia Mareski and Valerie Vivona and by his brother, Joseph Vendola and the late Frank Vendola and Samuel Vendola. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at 9 AM then to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church where at 10 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. Visiting hours Tuesday 2-4 & 6-9 PM.
