Obituary of Ernest Pizio

Pizio, Ernest R. 86, of Lyndhurst died on Friday May 22, 2009. Mr. Pizio was born in Jersey City living in Union City for 38 years then in Lyndhurst for the last 49 years. He worked as a Driver for the Hudson County News, North Bergen for 50 years retiring in 1988. He was a member of the DAV and Old guard of Nutley, a parishioner and member of the Holy Name Society, Altar Server, Eucharistic Minister, Feast Worker, Bingo worker and Senior Citizens all of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Lyndhurst and a member of the Knights Of Columbus #2396 of Lyndhurst. Ernest is survived by his beloved wife, Madeline (nee D�Amico) Pizio, his loving son, Ernest Pizio and his wife Sandra and by hi grandchildren Paul and Rachel Pizio. Brother in Law of Mickey D�Amico, Sonny D�Amico and his wife, Dolores. Uncle of Sharon and Peter Sinatra, Linda and Barbara D�Amico. Great Uncle of Stephen, Michael and Matthew Sinatra, Nicole and Tony Russel. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Wednesday Mat 27, 2009 at 9:30 AM then to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Lyndhurst where at 10:30 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. Visiting hours Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
