Kavanagh, Lorraine (nee Murphy), 76, of Lyndhurst died on Monday July 6, 2009. Mrs. Kavanagh was born and raised in Jersey City and has been a resident of Lyndhurst for over 20 years. She was a Factory Worker for Block Drug Company, Jersey City for 20 years and then as an X-ray Inspector for Howmedica Company, Rutherford for 15 years, retiring in 1998. Lorraine was predeceased by her beloved husband, the late Michael Kavanagh in 1992. She is survived by her loving daughter, Evelyn Heger of Wallington, by the light of her life, her granddaughter, Natasha Kavanagh of Wyckoff, and her dear friends, the Vlachos family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Thursday July 9, 2009 at 9 AM then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 10 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. Visiting hours Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
