Palermo, Evelyn (nee Kovach), 90, of Rutherford died on Monday July 20, 2009. Mrs. Palermo was born in Pringle Hill, PA, lived 6 years in Kearny and has been a resident of Rutherford since 1954. She worked as a Bookkeeper for St. Francis Hospital, Bronx, NY for many years, retiring in 1961. Evelyn was predeceased by her beloved husband, the late Joseph R. Palermo, Jr. in 1995. Loving mother of Jane Valenti of Ridgewood, Joseph R. Palermo III & his wife, Geri of Pompton Plains, Judith Moltz & her husband, Robert of Lyndhurst, and Joyce Natiello & her husband, Daniel of Rutherford. Caring grandmother of Joseph Valenti, Donna Valenti Petryshyn, Jennifer Palermo Woodward, Ann Marie Palermo Smits, Deborah Yodice, Fred Moltz, Julianne Natiello Nolan, Daniel Natiello, Jayme Palermo, Suzanne Moltz, Nicole Natiello, Ashley Natiello, and Katie Palermo. Dear great grandmother of Angelica, Michael, Antonio, Nicoletta, Victoria, Madison, Emily, Amanda, Alexander, Matthew, Sophia, Juliana, Isabella and Gabriella. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Friday July 24, 2009 at 9 AM then to St. Mary�s Church, Rutherford where at 10:30 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visiting hours Wednesday 7-9 PM and Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
