Violante, Joseph A., 86, of Lyndhurst died on Monday July 27, 2009. Mr. Violante was born in and has been a life long resident of Lyndhurst. He was an Army Veteran who served during WWII (1943 to 1945). He worked as a Manager for Channel Lumber Company, Clifton for over 25 years, retiring in 1986. He was a member of AARP 4866 and Mount Carmel Seniors. Joseph is the Beloved Husband of Rose (nee Roseti) Violante, Loving Father of Connie Violante, Marie Tooma and Marilyn Jones,Father in law of Bill Tooma and Robert Jones, Dear Grandfather of Bill Tooma, Brian Jones, Melissa Jones and Kristine Violante and Brother of James Violante, Marie Brown and the late RoseAnn Kutz. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Thursday July 30, 2009 at 9AM then to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Lyndhurst where at 10 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. Visiting hours Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
