Obituary of Anna Wozniak

Wozniak, Anna (nee Szczesny) 82, died on Tuesday August 25, 2009. Mrs. Wozniak was born in Jersey City, lived in Lyndhurst for 47 years and has been a resident of Monroe Village since 2002. She was a passionate homemaker, wife and mother. Anna was predeceased by her beloved husband, the late Chester Wozniak in April 2009. They had celebrated their 58th Wedding Anniversary last spring. She not only had a tremendous talent in raising her three sons (one of which had been born with Down�s Syndrome), but was a superb cook, seamstress, knitter, and loved ceramics. Her good nature, honesty, hard work, ethics, and compassion for those who are challenged and the elderly were some of her exceptional qualities. She was extremely proud of her Polish heritage and loved to share those traditions with friends and family. Her smile and optimistic outlook on life will be dearly missed. She was a member of the Lyndhurst Woman�s Club until the early 80�s and one of the founding members of the Recreation for Exceptional Children (REC) of Lyndhurst. She is survived by her loving children, Michael Wozniak and his wife, Jody of Hackettstown, Richard Wozniak and his wife, Carol of Newtown, PA, and Robert Wozniak of Freehold, and by her dear four grandchildren, John and his wife, Katie, Andrea and her fianc�, Jason, Brian and his fiance�, Kristy and Stephan. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Saturday August 29, 2009 at 10 AM then to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington where at 11AM a Funeral Mass will be offered.
