Cassizzi, Evelyn (nee Pecorilli) 79, died on Saturday October 17, 2009 at her residence. Mrs. Cassizzi was born in Jersey City and has been a resident of Lyndhurst for the past 55 years. She was a Supervisor for M & M Luggage, Jersey City for 39 years before retiring in 1985. Evelyn is predeceased by her parents, Giacomo and Loretta Pecorilli, her brothers, Angelo and Albert Pecorilli, and a sister, Amelia Zenga. She is survived by her beloved husband Michael Cassizzi of Lyndhurst, her sisters, Jennie Mereu of Perth Amboy, NJ; Caroline Zenga of Pompano Beach, FL, and many dear and loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Wednesday October 21, 2009 at 8:30AM then to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Lyndhurst where at 9:30AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Entombment Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge. Visiting hours Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9PM.
