Obituary of Frances Messen

Messen, Frances (nee Kachenovich) 89, died on Monday, April 11, 2011. Mrs. Messen was born in Cliffside Park, raised and resided in Garfield, has been a resident of Lyndhurst for 50 years and lived in West Milford for the past 5 years. She was a Seamstress for Country Girl Fashions of Lyndhurst for 12 years, retiring in 1983. Frances is predeceased by her beloved husband, Walter W. Messen in 1981 and her daughter, Alice Schwoerer in 2005. She is survived by her loving children, Ronald Messen, Gloria Wallace and Jane Callahan, by her dear five grandchildren and one great- grandchild. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Thursday April 14, 2011 at 9AM then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 10AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Cremation Private. Visiting hours Wednesday 2- 4PM.
