Gentile, Antoinette "Nettie" ( nee Colavita ), a lifelong resident of Lyndhurst, passed peacefully on November 12, 2009 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of 63 years to Francis S. Gentile, she was the cherished mother of Linda Tutunjian and her husband Ronald of Galloway, NJ; Francine Gentile and her husband David Taylor of Grants Pass, OR; Annette Mores and her husband Robert of Livingston, NJ. Nettie was devoted to her grandchildren, the late Kevin Tutunjian, Lisa Tutunjian Muniz and her husband Luis of Philadelphia, PA; Zoey Kohn and her husband Scott Lochmann of Portland, OR; Allegra Kohn Stuart and her husband Gregory of Bend, OR; Ashley Mores at The University of Maryland, College Park, MD; and Matthew Mores of Livingston, NJ. She adored her great grandchildren, Jaden Kevin Muniz of Philadelphia, PA; and Heaven-Leigh Melo of Elizabeth, NJ. Her nephew, Tom Gentile and his wife Laurie of Lyndhurst, NJ and her niece, Irene Naviello Saffer and her husband Ron of Tucson, AZ held special places in her heart. She is also survived by numerous relatives and friends who will miss her greatly. A homemaker, Nettie was an avid cook and baker who enjoyed experimenting with new recipes. She was an expert seamstress, making clothing for herself, her daughters and her grandchildren. Her greatest pleasure was to be surrounded by her family. She will live forever in the hearts of those who love her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at 10 AM then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 11 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Cremation Private. Visiting hours Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Antoinette�s name to the Lyndhurst Police Emergency Squad, 297 Delafield Avenue, Lyndhurst, NJ 07071.
