Obituary of Josephine Pravetz

Pravetz, Josephine (nee Lombardo) 96, died on Sunday, November 15, 2009 at her residence. Mrs. Pravetz was born in New York City, moved to East Rutherford in 1920, lived in Wood Ridge for 28 years and has been a resident of Rutherford for 40 years. She worked as a Milliner for Betmar Hat Company, Passaic for 30 years, retiring in 1978. Josephine was predeceased by her beloved husband, the late Michael R. Pravetz in 1989. She is survived by her loving son, Michael R. Pravetz, Mary of Elmwood Park and her grandson, Joseph DeSomma. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at 10 AM then to St. Joseph�s Church, East Rutherford where at 11 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visiting hours Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
