Obituary of Salvatore Verga

Verga, Salvatore, died on Monday April 25, 2011. Mr. Verga was born and raised in Jersey City and has been a resident of Lyndhurst for the past 54 years. Salvatore was an Army Veteran during WWII 1944-1945. He was a Construction Laborer working with Local # 472 for many years, retiring in 1982. Salvatore is predeceased by his beloved wife, Mary A. (nee Mc Mahon) Verga and his daughter, Patricia Colyer. He is survived by his loving son, David J. Verga, by his six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Friday April 29, 2011 at 9AM then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 10AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8PM. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Disabled Veterans, 612 Mill Street, Belleville, NJ 07109.
