Schmidt, Helen A. (nee Hofmann), 92, died on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at her home. Mrs. Schmidt was born in West New York and has been a resident of Lyndhurst for many years. Helen is predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert W. Schmidt in 1991. She is survived by her loving sons, Carl R. Schmidt (Martha), Bruce Schmidt (Laurie) and Alan Schmidt (Connie). Also survived by her granddaughter, Grace.
Cremation was private and a memorial service will be held at a later time.
