Braffa, Rosa (nee Caruso), 87, of Lyndhurst, died on Thursday, March 22, 2018.  Mrs. Braffa was born and raised in Sicily, Italy and moved to the United States in 1959 where she was a resident of Lyndhurst for 58 years.  She worked as a seamstress for several years.  Rosa is predeceased by her beloved husband of 24 years, John Braffa in 1982 and survived by their loving children, Rosemarie T. Braffa-Barba, John Braffa and his wife, Michelle, and Anthony Braffa and his wife, Pily, by her dear nephew, Carmen Migliore, and by her cherished grandchildren, David (Caitlyn), Ashley, and Danielle Barba, Dominick, Luciano, Stefano, Lorenzo, and Bryan Braffa, and Amanda, Nick, and Sean Rodriguez.  She is also survived by her brother, Salvatore Caruso and her sister, Teresa Rosa, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Sunday, March 25, 2018 from 2 - 6 PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Monday, March 26 at 9 AM then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 10 AM a funeral mass will be offered.  Entombment, Holy Cross Mausoleum, North Arlington.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rosa's memory to the American Parkinson Disease Association, 135 Parkinson Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10305, or online at apdaparkinson.org.
