Obituary of Frank B Sheridan

Sheridan, Frank B. “Buzz”, 87, died on Saturday, May 5, 2018.  Frank was born and raised in Union City and lived most of his life in Lyndhurst.   He was a firefighter with the Union City Fire Department and a member of the North Hudson Firefighters Association IAFF Local 3950. He was past president of the Edison School PTA and an active parishioner of St. Anthony’s Church, both of Union City.  When Frank retired from the fire department, he became a licensed exterminator and owned an A1 Bonded Exterminating business.  He also was the owner of Cobwebs and Collectible of Lyndhurst over 30 years.  Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Mary C. (nee Travas), by his loving children, Dennis Sheridan & his wife, Jean, Alexandra Sheridan, Mark Sheridan, Bruce Sheridan & his wife, Jan, Catherine Sheridan & her husband, Larry and Peter Sheridan & his wife, Jennifer.  He is also survived by his dear thirteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Friday, May 11, 2018 from 6 - 8PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 9AM then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 10AM a funeral mass will be offered.  Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
