Reese, John D. “Jack”, 83, of Toms River, died on Sunday, June 3, 2018.  Mr. Reese was born and raised in Lyndhurst, lived in Rutherford for 30 years and has bee a resident of Toms River for the past 4 years. Jack proudly served in the NJ National Guard, serving six months in Fort Sam, Houston TX as a Medical Specialist. He was a “Jack of all trades”; he worked as utility sprayer at Western Electric, as a bartender at the Meadows West and a wedding singer at The Wayne Manor. More recently, he was a Truck Driver for N.E.T., trucking company in Lyndhurst delivering and removing copier machines. He had been a member of the Lyndhurst Italian/American Club, AmVets Post #20 Lyndhurst and the Silver Ridge Park North Mens Club. Jack is survived by beloved wife, Leslie (nee Kaminski) of 32 years of marriage, by his three sons, Glenn Reese, Scott Reese and John W. Reese & his wife, Patricia, by his granddaughter, Lindsy Ciancia, by his brother, Robert Reese, brother-in-law John Berner, and his sister, the late Evelyn Berner as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 from 4 – 8 PM. A Service will be held beginning at 7:30PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jack’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis TN 38148-0142
