Cortellino, Michael A. �Mickey�, 76, died on Saturday, May 21, 2011. Mr. Cortellino was born and raised in Hoboken and has been a resident of Lyndhurst for over 50 years. He was a Navy Veteran from 1955-1957. He was a teamster member Local 560 of Union City for over 30 years retiring in 1995, then a Van Driver for Compcare of Lyndhurst for the past 16 years. Mickey enjoyed playing cards at the Oak Leaf in Hoboken. Michael is predeceased by his sons, the late Joseph Cortellino in 1995, Michael Cortellino in 1997 and his brother, Leo Cortellino in 1992. He is survived by his beloved wife, Christine (nee Rippo) Cortellino of Lyndhurst, his loving children, Christopher Cortellino & his wife, Denese of Lyndhurst, Dana Chimento & her husband, Ralph of Nutley, Janine Martin & her husband, Vinnie of Lodi, Nicole Weaver & her husband, Scot of Lyndhurst, and by his fourteen dear grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Wednesday May 25, 2011 at 9AM then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 10AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visiting hours Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9PM.
