Obituary of George Despotovich

Despotovich, George, 79, died on Thursday, June 2, 2011 at his residence. Mr. Despotovich was born in Jersey City and has lived in East Rutherford all of his adult life. He was a Baker for Bickford Bakery in Jersey City for 24 years and a Custodian for Becton Regional High School of East Rutherford for over 20 years, retiring in 2000. He was predeceased by his brother, the late John Despotovich. George is survived by his beloved wife, Louise (nee Palazzo) Despotovich, his brothers, Al Despotovich & his wife, Mary of Lyndhurst and Eric Despotovich & his wife, Marie of Lyndhurst and by his niece, Betty Ann Alberta among many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Monday, June 6, 2011 at 9AM then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 10AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. Visiting hours Sunday 1-5 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: St. Jude�s Children�s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
