Obituary of Joseph F. Lombardi

Lombardi, Joseph F. 89, died on Saturday, June 11, 2011. Mr. Lombardi was born in Lyndhurst and has been a resident of Hasbrouck Heights since 1954. He was an Army Veteran of WWII. Owner of Engravers Specialty Labs and Viking Taxi Meters, both of East Rutherford, retiring in 1986. Joseph is predeceased by his beloved wife, Anne M. (nee Gagliardi) Lombardi in 1973, by his son, Frank Lombardi in 1968, by his brother, Louis Lombardi and his sister, Cecilia Intindola. He is survived by his loving children, Joanne Munoz & her husband, Epi, Susan Baycora & her husband, Al, Adrienne Caruso & son in law, Charles, Lynore Michail & her husband, Michael, and Carol Ann Lombardi, by his five dear grandchildren, Annina and Alexandra Caruso, Joseph, Caroline and Dylan Michail, by his special companion, Carole Cannara, by his dear friend, Lois Bedell, by his sisters, Phyllis Gagliardi, and Gloria Petty and by many nieces and nephews. Joseph loved life and lived his to the fullest. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at 9AM then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 10AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visiting hours Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9PM.
