Obituary of Marie J. Giunta

Giunta, Marie J. (nee Grasso) 74, passed away on Monday October 31, 2011 from a courageous battle with cancer. She was a strong, beautiful woman whose family meant the world to her. She was raised in Bloomfield, lived in Lyndhurst where she and her beloved husband, the late Louis J. Giunta raised their family. She is survived by her loving children, James J. Giunta & his wife, Kathy, Debra Garofalo & her husband, Ron, Mark Giunta & his wife, Ann Marie. Loving grandmother to Ronnie Garofalo and his wife Monica, Anthony, James, Luke, Mark, Matthew and Dana Giunta. Great grandmother to Christiano Garofalo. Dearest sister to Ann Kranik and the late Anthony Grasso. She will be missed by all of her loving family. She was a homemaker and worked at Comvestrix in Lyndhurst where she met many dear friends. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Seniors and Rosary Society and AARP 4866, all of Lyndhurst. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Friday, November 4, 2011 at 9 AM then to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington where at 10 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visiting hours Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Lyndhurst, NJ.
