Van Miert, John J., 50, died on Saturday, November 19, 2011. Mr. Van Miert was born in Jersey City, lived over 20 years in Lyndhurst and was a resident of Nutley for the past year. He was General Manager for San Carlos�of Lyndhurst for 20 years and for Ruth Chris Steakhouse of Weehawken for 5 years. John is predeceased by his parents, John J. in July 2011 & Helen (nee Donohue) in 2008, and his brother, James in 1995. He is survived by loving daughters, Amanda and Megan Van Miert and long time friend, Jean Van Miert. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 10:30 AM.
