Muhleisen Jr., Frederick G. 93, of Lyndhurst, died on Saturday, December 31, 2011. Mr. Muhleisen was born in Forest Park, IL settled in Lyndhurst in 1920 where he currently resided. He served in the Merchant Marines during WWII. He worked as a Stationary Engineer for Mount Sinai Hospital of New York where he retired in 1984. Frederick was predeceased by his beloved wife, Mary A. (nee Vedde) Muhleisen in 1997. He is survived by his loving daughters, Marilyn Schultz & her husband, John, Diane Anderson & her husband, Robert and Elaine Sosnicki & her husband, Joseph, by his sister, Elizabeth Shannon, sister in law, Mary Muhleisen and by his dear twelve grandchildren, thirty four great grandchildren and one great great grandson. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at 10 AM. Interment Hillside Cemetery, Lyndhurst. Visiting hours Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
