Obituary of Barbara Iapicco

Iapicco Barbara J. (nee Volk) 79, died on Saturday January 7, 2012. Mrs. Iapicco was born in Newark and raised in Lyndhurst. She raised her family in Little Ferry, then retired to Lakewood and was a current resident of Elmwood Park. She was a long time Council Member and Deputy Mayor of Little Ferry as well as Little Ferry Municipal Chairperson and served as Administrator to Paul J. Contilo. The pride of her life was raising her family of five children and eight grandchildren. Barbara is predeceased by her beloved husband, Roger Iapicco in 2005. She is survived by her loving children, Roger Iapicco & his wife, Mary Ellen, Jeffrey Iapicco & his wife, Debbie, Thomas Iapicco, Lisa Iapicco and Beth Ann Iapicco & her partner, Kerri, by her dear grandchildren, Roger, Caitlin, Jason, Dominique, Mariah, Marisa, Michele and TJ, and by her brother, Irvin Volk. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Thursday January 12, 2012 at 9:30AM then to St. Michael�s Church, Lyndhurst where at 10:30AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Cremation private. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8PM.
