Palumbo, Christine S. (nee Sapere) 90, died on Friday, March 9, 2012. Mrs. Palumbo was born and raised in Yonkers, NY, lived in Lyndhurst for 14 years and has been a resident of North Arlington since 1986. She worked for Western Electric, Kearny for 35 years before retiring in 1985. Christine is predeceased by her beloved husband, Michael A. Palumbo in 1985. She is survived by her loving daughter, Christel Carrano & her husband, Joseph, by her dear grandsons, Michael, Joseph and Andrew Carrano and by her brothers and sisters, Magno Sapere, Rose Anzelone, Joseph Sapere, Florence Sapere. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at 11 AM then to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington where at 12 Noon a Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visiting hours Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
