Obituary of Domenica Masucci

Masucci, Domenica (nee Sabatino) 95, of Paterson, died on Sunday, May 20, 2012. Mrs. Masucci was born in Newark, raised and lived most of her in Paterson. She graduated St. Joseph Nursing School in 1938. During WWII, she taught First Aid with the Red Cross and nursing aide classes. She was Director of Nursing for Beth Israel Hospital as well as Assistant Administrator and Director of Nursing for Chestnut Hill Convalescent Center, both of Passaic, retiring in 1988. Domenica was predeceased by her beloved husband, the late Italo Masucci in 1999. She is survived by her loving children, Marie Galgano and her husband, John and Paul Masucci, her niece, Dr. Ann Sabatino, her grand niece, Nicole Lawton and grand nephew, Matthew Lawton. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Thursday, May 24, 2012 8:30 AM then to St. Bonaventure�s Church, Paterson where at 10:15 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Visiting hours Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
