Obituary of Irene Grace Ungar

Ungar, Irene Grace, 82, passed into eternal life on Monday, June 4, 2012 at Arbor Glen Center in Cedar Grove. Born in Newark to Joseph Zwolinski & Violet Myurski, she lived in East Newark, Union and Harrison before moving to Lyndhurst 57 years ago. In addition to raising her 3 children, she worked at Bambergers in Paramus and Marriot in Ridgefield before retiring. She was an active in Sacred Heart Church as a Eucharistic Minister, CCD Teacher and was a past president of the Sacred Heart Rosary Society. She is predeceased by her longtime companion, Michael DeNigris and her daughter-in-law, Jean Trampler. Irene is survived by her loving children, Edward Trampler, Linda Tweedus & her husband, Rob, Michael Ungar & his wife, Christina, by her brother, Dennis Bogdanowicz, by her dear grandchildren, Matthew Trampler & his wife, Elaine, Joseph Ungar and Katie Ungar, and by her great-grandchildren George and Nicholas Trampler. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Thursday June 7, 2012 at 9AM then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 10AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. Visiting hours Wednesday 7-9PM.
