Obituary of Joseph P. Allegro

Allegro, Joseph, P., 84, died on Wednesday July 25, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Allegro was born in Newark and has been a resident of Gillette since 1965. He was an Army Veteran serving during the Korean War (1946-1947). He received his B.S. Degree from NYU in 1960 and was the Owner of Allegro Associates of Newark for 50 years. Joseph was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the V.F.W. both of Berkeley Heights. Joseph is survived by his beloved wife, Ann M. (nee Torsiello) Allegro, his loving daughters, Mary Frances Olson & her husband, Don and Michelle Allegro, by his dear grandchildren, Emily Sickler and James, Michael and Matthew Olson, by his sister, Vivian Kruger and by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Paul Ippolito Berkeley Memorial Home, 646 Springfield Avenue, Berkeley Heights, N.J. on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 9AM then to St. Vincent De Paul Church, Bebout Avenue, Stirling, N.J. where at 10AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment St. Vincent De Paul Cemetery, Stirling, N.J. Visiting hours Friday 2-4 & 7-9PM.
