Obituary of John P. Cassin

Cassin, John P., 54, of Lyndhurst, died on Tuesday, July 24, 2018.  Mr. Cassin was born and raised in Elmhurst, NY and was a resident of Lyndhurst for 25 years.  He worked as a truck mechanic for Apex Xpress in Secaucus for 34 years.  John is predeceased by his parents, Frederick and Beverly Cassin (nee Bolen) and by his brother, Gerald Cassin and his mother in law, Anne Marie Davis, just this past July 2nd.  He is survived by his beloved wife, JoAnne Cassin (nee Davis), by his sisters and brothers,  Jeannie Tryzinski, Amy Richards, Carlotta Palmer and her husband, Mike, Kathryn Cassin, Patrick Cassin and his wife, Danielle, Daniel Cassin, and James Cassin, by his two brothers-in-law, Richard Joseph Davis and his wife, Sandra and James F. Davis and his wife, Christine, and by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visiation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Sunday, July 29, 2018 from 2 - 6 PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Monday, July 30 at 9 AM then to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church where at 10 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered.  Entombment, Holy Cross Mausoleum, North Arlington. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in John's memory to American Cancer Society, 986 S. Springfield  Avenue, Springfield, NJ 07081. .
