Obituary of Michael Di Pisa

Michael, DiPisa, Sr., 63, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 10, 2108, after a valiant fight with cancer.  He was a lifelong resident of Lyndhurst and worked as a machinist, touting his skills with building his own tattoo machines.  He loved the outdoors, to hunt, fish and ride his motorcycle.  We will never forget Michael’s laugh, his smile, his jokes, but mostly, his kindness and ability to touch the lives of everyone he met.  He will truly be missed by all who had the pleasure to knowing him.  Michael is predeceased by his parents, Joseph Sr. in 1989 and Mildred in 2008.  Beloved husband of Diane Di Pisa (nee De Martino), Cherished father of Dena Siple & her husband, Robby, Michael DiPisa, Jr. & his wife, Thara.  Proud grandpa of Rebecca, Dylan and Juliette.  Loving brother of Barbara Voellinger and her late husband, George, Joseph DiPisa, Jr. and his wife, Barbara, David DiPisa and his wife, Luann.  Dear son-in-law of Vincent and Joyce De Martino, brother-in-law of Robert, Annette, Richard and Rae Ann De Martino.  He is also survived by many aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.     

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 from 4-8 PM.  All will gather at the Funeral Home on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 9 AM then to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Lyndhurst where at 10 AM a funeral mass will be offered.  Cremation Private.  In lieu of flowers, donation may be made in Michael’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 1000 Dept 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
