I am so sorry to hear about Otto. He was a very good friend of my family, especially my Dad, Raymond Miller. I remember him coming to our home and the Clambakes at my Uncle Bussie's to raise money for the hunting club. May he RIP. God Bless your Family.

I just heard your dad passed. I am so sorry. He was a nice man. I met Otto through my husband John. Your dad and the club called him Jack, he too belonged to the hunting club in Pa.. John said it took a while for your dad to get close, but as John said once he did, he really liked you. John passed in March 2009, but your dad and I stayed in touch through Christmas cards and notes through the years.i remember visiting him at Beach Lake showing me his house. He loved being up there. That was the outdoorsman in him. He is at peace and with family and friends. My condolences to the family.

I have a lot of special times, that I remember growing up with our dad. mostly every Sunday it was a trip to Lyndhurst to Grandma and Grandpa's house for a big spaghetti and meatball dinner with the whole family ( and their was a lot of them) ! We usually spent the afternoon taking a walk to the candy store and the cemetery with our cousins. We had a lot fun. I remember my dad took me fishing at weekwake park. We were having a pretty good time till I walked across my line he was bating and sure enough ,the hook went in his finger and off we went to the doctor to have it removed. My dad was a great story teller and he had plenty, but he was known to exaggerate just a wee bit. I live in KY on a farm and my dad loved to tell his friends I lived on a horse farm. Was true we did have 3 horses at the time now we have 2 ! Some stories, I'm still not sure if it was true or fiction !! But I'm glad we rekindle our relationship and have spent a lot of precious moments together . I will miss him dearly but I know he is at peace, now with all the family and friends . I love you dad, till we meet again! Diane

Anyone who knew my dad, knew family and friends were very important to him. My most cherished memory of my dad was when I went to visit him in the nursing home in N.J. . He told me to come close to him and he cradled his hands around my face and said " I Love You" . That was one of the best moments of my life ! Love Always ,
Linda

I will miss my dad very much, he was my best friend! I am so lucky to have him part of my life. He had such a great sense of humor, some times I would call, and he would answer "Harry's Pizza", always joking around, or would make up stories, and I would say "really"? and he would say. "No"!
My dad was a great cook, and he would tell me about cooking in the Navy . He served on the USS Robert L. Wilson Destroyer during WW II, which he was very proud of, and wore his hat when we went out. He was always so appreciative when someone would come up to him and thank him for his service!
He LOVED HUNTING. He told me how a group of people from Lyndhurst,NJ starting the Valley Brook Rod and Gun Club in Beach Lake, PA., which he is an honorary member. He loved being a part of that club and was so fortunate to make such good friends through the years. I have had the personal pleasure talking to Sal, Al, and Ann. Such wonderful people, and if I have needed anything for my dad they were right there. My dad, just a few weeks back, wanted some cheese from back home, Sal had it there next day! Good friends! A special "thank you" to them.
He was very proud of his Italian heritage. Loved nature, would sit outside and watch the hummingbirds eat. He would say " I just filled it yesterday ", lol, there were quite a few that came. At the end of the season, before they flew south, he always said they would fly around his head, as to say good bye. They were there yesterday, I fed them for my dad. Oh how I am going to miss him!!! Thank you for letting me share.
Rest in peace Dad. I love you. Joyce

Dear Joyce and Family,
It was our privilege to know Otto. From the moment I was introduced to Otto he and I bonded. He sent home food with Al for me to try because we both loved to cook good food. He only bought the best. He always said "you have to use good stuff" and you get good food. He was very kind to me and was always happy to have Al around. His life stories were filled to capacity with good and bad times.
May he be in the Lord's arms and at peace.
We loved him,
Ann and Al
