Obituary of Joseph Berlingeri

Berlingeri, Joseph, 89, of Lyndhurst, died on Saturday, September 22, 2018.  Mr. Berlingeri was born in Bayonne and was a resident of Lyndhurst for 65 years.  Joseph worked for Pete's Auto in Bayonne doing reupholstery and also worked as a custodian at Sacred Heart School in Lyndhurst.  He was a dedicated family man and was always happy, often singing upon waking up in the morning.  Joseph is survived by his beloved wife, Caterina Berlingeri (nee Brizzi) and their loving children, Frank and Marie Berlingeri, by his cherished grandchildren, Jeanine Sapone and her husband, Joseph, John Tonachio and his wife, Janine, and Amanda Brogley, by his dear great grandchildren, Isabella and Joseph Sapone and Logan and Leanna Tonachio, and by his sister, Theresa Buonocore.  He is predeceased by his brother, John Berlingeri.  

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 from 4 - 8 PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Thursday, September 27 at 9 AM where a funeral service will begin at 10 AM.  Entombment, Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington.
