Obituary of Samuel Corkin

Corkin, Samuel, 78, of Lyndhurst, died on Monday, October 1, 2018.  Mr. Corkin was born in Lisburn, County Antrim, Ireland, moved to the United States at age 7 and settled in Kearny, NJ where he was raised.  He was a resident of Lyndhurst for the past 42 years.  He was the Director of Advance Technology for American Express, Paine Weber and MetLife for many years, retiring in 2004. 

Samuel is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years come this October 29th, Patricia M. (nee Clarke), by his loving children, Mark S. Corkin & his wife, Carla, Dana M. McKeon & her husband, Michael and Kristen D. Pressey, by his dear eight grandchildren, Anya and Tiernan Corkin, Caitlin, Conor and Alexis Mc Keon, Jenna, Alex and Jake Pressey, by his brothers and sisters in law, Donna and Joe Whittles and Dorothy and Tom DeLoriea, by his niece, Jennifer Spzila and nephew, Danny Whittles.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 from 4 to 8PM.  All will gather at the funeral home in Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 9 AM .  A Funeral Service will begin 10 AM.  Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
