Milano, Josephine M. (nee Presti), 83, of East Rutherford, died on Thursday, March 11, 2010. Mrs. Milano was born in Wallington, lived in Elmwood Park for 5 years and Lodi for 8 years and has been a resident of East Rutherford for the past 13 years. She was a Head Cashier for Shop Rite of Lyndhurst and Hasbrouck Heights for 30 years, retiring in 1991. She was an Executive Board member of AFLCIO, Local 1262, Clifton and a member of the Elks of Elmwood Park, Paterson #60. She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Maria (nee Patti) Presti, her husband, John J. Jasionowicz, Sr. and her two sisters, Jennie Zangara and Sadie Backur. Josephine is survived by her beloved husband, Rocco Milano, her loving daughter, JoAnn Onnembo and devoted son in law, Jerry and her son, John J. Jasionowicz, Jr., her step daughter, Debra Kostic, six sisters and two brothers, Helen Scangerella, Nicoletta Piazza, Mary Musumeci, Frances Good, Florence Llewellyn, Rose Llewellyn, Rosario Presti and Frank Presti, her grandchildren, James Onnembo and Jamie, John Onnembo, John Jasionowicz III and Jodi Jasionowicz, her step grandchildren, Rocklyn Petrizzi, Robert Kostic, Rebecca Ayres and Jerry Onnembo, Jr., by her dear three great grandchildren and by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Monday, March 15, 2010 at 8:30 AM then to St. Joseph�s Church, East Rutherford where at 9:30 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visiting hours Sunday 2-6 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: St. Jude�s Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to a charity of your choice.
