Obituary of Margaret Tremonte

Tremonte, Margaret "Peggy"(nee Seibert) ,93, of Lyndhurst, died on Friday, February 8, 2019. Mrs. Tremonte was born and raised in Jersey City and has been a resident of Lyndhurst since 1954. She was a devoted homemaker, mother and wife. Margaret is predeceased by her beloved husband of 67 years, Pasquale P. Tremonte in 2014, by her children, George Tremonte in 1971 and Patricia Purvin and her grandson, Bryan Purvin both in 2018 and son in law, Joseph Saltarelli in 2006. She is survived by her loving children, Pellegrino "Billy" Tremonte & his wife, Barbara, Bernadette Saltarelli, Michael Tremonte & his wife, Barbara and Mary Ellen Young & her husband, Elvis, by her son in law, Bruce Purvin, by her dear grandchildren, Kimberly Rubliatus (Michael), Bruce Purvin, Jr.(Jaime), Kelly Purvin, Dawn Marcano (Raymond), Tricia Saltarelli, Jennifer Bedrin (Michael), Tara Moreau (Scott), Georgeann Sherrow (Robert), Taylor Selser (John), AJ Young (Christina), Kaitlin and Abbey Tremonte, Brittany and Maggie Young, by her 14 great-grandchildren.  Also a special thank you to her dear care taker, Debbie Eckert.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ 07071 on Monday, February 11, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-9PM.   All will gather at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 12th at 9 AM then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 10 AM, a funeral mass will be offered. Interment Hillside Cemetery, Lyndhurst.
