Obituary of Vittoria Sapone

Sapone, Vittoria (nee Marra), 88, of Verona, died on Monday, March 11, 2019.  Mrs. Sapone was born in Italy and moved to Lyndhurst in 1970.  She lived in North Arlington for 35 years before moving to Verona in 2013.  Vittoria worked as a seamstress for Orenstein Fashion in Lyndhurst for over 25 years and then worked part-time at San Carlo's Restaurant, retiring in the late 1990s.  She is predeceased by her beloved husband, John Sapone in 2009 and survived by their loving children, Angela Foster and her husband, Thomas, Sophia Haas and her husband, Henry, and Frank Sapone and his wife, Michelle, by her dear grandchildren, Daniel, Jennifer, Jenna, and Jessica, and by her 2 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ 07071 on Thursday, March 14, 2019 from 4 - 8 PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Friday, March 15 at 9 AM.  A funeral service will begin at 10 AM.  Entombment, Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Vittoria's memory to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8517.
