I fondly remember Bob, firs,t as my US History teacher in the early 1970’s. The quote he wrote on the blackboard, “War is Profitable Business” remains indelibly etched in my mind. Then, from 1975-1979, I would periodically see Bob heading to NYU at the same time I was taking the Path train to Cooper. I became his colleague at Kearny from 1983- through his retirement. His passion and conviction for the Japanese program cannot be forgotten. It continues to this day. He touched so many students and colleagues hearts and minds through his example. May he Rest In Peace.
