Peter’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5:28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope.

To My loving Brother Peter;
You were both a brother and father to Philip and me. I will always remember your sense of humor, how Sissy and you would always be laughing. We learned our love of the NY teams (True Blue) from you. Taking us to old timers day every year was the greatest.
Finally getting mommy to let us take the bus and play little league! You came to all of our games and would cheer us on. I remember how much we missed you when you were in Vietnam. Philip and I would write you letters with the Yankees box score inside. When you got home I would listen to all the Motown albums with you. You would wake me up and we would watch the late late show and you would make BLTs on toast.
When you got married and had your own apartment and home, you made us always feel welcomed.
You were always generous with everyone and had many friends throughout the years.
You were a great father to Barbara and Robert. Even though you have not been the same in recent years, when I brought up past memories, I could always get a laugh from you.
I will miss you very much
Love
Carmen AKA Carmine

To My Brother, In-law:
Pete I'll always remember your smile and laughter when I tried to do my imitations and jokes. Then you would say yeah right!. I'll end with a quote from your favorite song. I've got sunshine on a cloudy day.
I'll miss all the good times we had.

To My Brother, Peter:
I wanted to thank you for being a great, special brother to us and always being there when I or we needed you. I will always remember the support and encouragement you gave me and Carmen with whatever activities we were involved including learning how to play baseball. You always attended our LL baseball games and cheered us on. You always found ways to get us to join you at Yankee games (how many consecutive Old Timer’s Day we attended) and NY Giant’s football games. You were always unselfish and never asked or expected anything from anyone. I will miss spending time with you talking about our favorite food mommy would make us or favorite movies. We will miss you, but always remember the special times we had to together.
Love you forever,
Your Brother Philip
