Lana, Charles, 87, of Lyndhurst, died on Monday, September 10, 2012. Mr. Lana was born in New York City and has been a resident of Lyndhurst since 1964. He was a Business Agent and Treasurer for New York Joint Board Amalgamated Clothing and Textile Workers Union, AFL-CIO, CLC, Local No. 63 for over 50 years, retiring in 1992. Charles is survived by his beloved wife, Caroline (nee Alaimo) Lana, his loving children, Rose Marie Lana & her husband, Robert Nicol, Carmelo Lana & his wife, Roberta, Charles Lana & his wife, Diane, and Michael Lana & his wife, Kathi, by his brother, Joseph Lana, by his dear grandchildren, Diana Pelov, Lana Marie Rumore, Stefanie, Carmelo, Joseph, Charles, Andrew, Michael and Jacob Lana and two great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass held at Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at 10AM. Interment Hillside Cemetery, Lyndhurst. Visiting hours will be Wednesday 4-8 PM at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst.
