Obituary of Catherine Lynn Munro

Munro, Catherine "Cathy" Lynn (nee Phillips), 68, of Lyndhurst, died on Wednesday, May 29, 2019.  Cathy was born in Kearny and lived most of her life in there.  She was the superintendent at Hillside Cemetery in Lyndhurst.  Cathy was predeceased by her son, Glenn D. Munro in 2018 and survived by her loving daughter, Shannon Munro - Caamano and her husband, Benito (Benny) and her cherished grandchildren, Audrey and River Caamano, by her “Thelma & Louise” , Jeanie Beanie, by her brothers, Jimmy Phillips & his wife, Barbara, Kevin Phillips & his wife, Elaine, Glenn Phillips & his wife, Rene, her sister, Nancy Gervasi & her husband, John and many nieces and nephews.  Relatives  and friends are invited to attend the memorial visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Friday, June 7, 2019 from 4 - 8 PM.  All will gather at St. Stephen's Church on Saturday, June 8 where a memorial mass will be offered at 10 AM.
