Bevacqua, Anthony A.,31, of Plainview, NY, died on Tuesday, June 18, 2019.  Mr. Bevacqua was born in Stony Brook, NY, raised in Setauket, NY, and lived in Plainview for the past year.  He spent time abroad in Thailand teaching English and had a passion for ice hockey.  Anthony recently went back to school at Nassau Community College and earned the honor of Valedictorian of his graduating class.  He continued his education at Hofstra University, majoring in Linguistics.  Anthony is survived by his devoted parents, Andrew J. and Aimee (nee Giragosian) Bevacqua, by his cherished brother, Kurt Bevacqua and his wife, Jordan, by his dear grandmothers, Rosemarie Bevacqua and Jane Giragosian Hastings, by his aunts and uncles, Vivien and Bob Dodge, Geralyn Bevacqua, and Carrie and Ken Wondergem, and by many loving cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Sunday, June 23, 2019 from 3 - 7 PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Monday, June 24 at 10 AM where a funeral service will be held at 11 AM.  Interment to follow, Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Anthony's memory to Brain & Behavior Research Foundation, https://www.bbrfoundation.org or to a charity of your choice.
