Obituary of Evagelos Spiratos

Spiratos, Evagelos, 85, of Newark, died on Monday, July 8, 2019.  Mr. Spiratos was born in Kefalonia, Greece and first came to San Francisco, CA in 1970 before moving to Newark that same year where he lived for most of his life.  He was a member of the Greek Army and Navy.  Evagelos worked as a chef for Jimmy's Lunch Truck in Newark.  He is predeceased by his brothers and sister, Fanis, Theodora, and Haralambos and survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Barbara Spiratos (nee Dragonas), by their loving sons, Kostantinos Spiratos and his wife, Odalis and Dionisios Spiratos, by his cherished grandchildren, Andreas Evagelos and Sophia Spiratos, and by his brothers and sisters, Panagis, Sotiris, Lefteris, Maria, Eleni, and Diamanto.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the graveside service at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, 255 Main Avenue, Clifton, NJ on Friday, July 12, 2019 at 10:30 AM.
