Kyc, Kenneth R., 72, formerly of North Arlington, NJ, most recently of Toms River, NJ passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on October 28, 2019. Born in Jersey City, NJ, Ken moved to North Arlington, NJ as a young child where he lived for over 40 years. Ken served in the United States Navy, returned from duty, married Maria and raised two children. He worked at the United States Postal Service for over 30 years, before retiring. Ken enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching sports, and taking trips. Later in life Ken’s most joyful times were spent watching and enjoying his three grandchildren.  Ken is the beloved husband of Maria Kyc (nee Haliniak); loving son of the late Andrew and Florence Kyc; loving father of Katherine Curley and Christopher Kyc; loving father-in-law, Ryan P. Curley; and loving grandfather of Ryan Thomas, Loghan, and Rhiannon.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Saturday November 2, 2019 beginning at 9AM then to St. Michael’s Church, Lyndhurst where at 10:30AM a funeral mass will be offered.  Entombment, Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington.
