Obituary of John A. Coppola

Coppola, John, A., 96, of Lyndhurst, died on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at his home.  Mr. Coppola was born and raised in Belleville, and moved to Lyndhurst in 1948, when he married Mildred Imperato, where he has been a resident ever since.  John served in the armed forces during World War II (1942-1945).  He was the owner of Coppola Brothers, Belleville for 40 years before retiring.  He was an avid hunter, fisherman and gardener.  John is predeceased by all of his brothers and sisters, Margaret, Millie, Joe, Benny, Mike, Antoinette, Mary, and James, by his beloved wife, Mildred (nee Imperato) Coppola in 2008 and his daughter, Annette Coppola in 2011.  He is survived by his son, John Coppola, by his dear grandchildren, John and Marissa Coppola, by his cousin, Michael Coppola and by many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Friday, November 1, 2019 from 4 to 8 PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 8:30 AM then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 9:30 AM a funeral mass will be offered.  Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
