Obituary of Rocco Cassano

Cassano, Rocco, 89, of Lyndhurst, died on Tuesday, March 31, 2020.  Mr. Cassano was born and raised in Newark and has been a resident of Lyndhurst since 1976.  He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War and then worked as a machinist for Pfizer Pharmaceutical Company in Parsippany.  Rocco enjoyed woodworking, coin collecting, and watching western movies.  He is predeceased by his devoted parents, Michael and Jennie Cassano (nee Somma) and by his brother, Michael Cassano, Jr.  He is survived by his loving sister, Jennie Cece and by his nieces and nephews, Lori, Anthony, Alla, Michelle S., Michael, Michelle M., Tom, Debbie, and Patty.

Funeral arrangements are private and held under the direction of the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, New Jersey.  Please express your condolences to Rocco's family on our Tribute Wall.
