Obituary of Elvira Galindo-Dominguez

Elvira Galindo, affectionately referred to as Elvirita, was born on March 1, 1962, in Bogota, Colombia. She died on April 16, 2020, in Jersey City, New Jersey, at the age of 57. Elvira was a resident of Union City, New Jersey.

Elvira was the youngest of six siblings and immigrated to the United States in the early 1970’s. She attended elementary school as well as high school in Jersey City, New Jersey. Elvira was a passionate individual whose interests included cosmetology, drawing and art. Elvira enjoyed playing Bingo, dominos, listening to music, in particular salsa and cumbia. She was a faithful individual who incorporated spirituality into her daily life.

Elvira was predeceased by her oldest brother Fernando Galindo, and living are her mother Mrs. Elvira Chipelo. Her living siblings include Rigoberto, Miguel Angel, Maria Victoria and German Galindo. She was the proud aunt of Marisol, Julio, Paola, Stephanie, Alexander and Brandon and great-aunt to Anthony, Jenalie, Leah, Leanna, and Goddaughter Makayla.
